1 Definition of Sentence in Bangla Simple sentence হলো তাই যার একটি Independent clause থাকে এবং একটি সম্পূর্ণ ধারনা প্রকাশ করে । কমা বা সংযুক্ত সূচক শব্দ দিয়ে দুইটি Simple sentence  যুক্ত হলে তাকে Compound sentence বলে । দুই বা ততোধিক Simple sentence একত্রে যুক্ত হয়ে একটি clause এর উপর অন্য clause গুলো নির্ভরশীল হলে তাকে Complex sentence বলে ।
2 Definition of Sentence in English A simple sentence has independent clause and express one idea. Compound sentence is composed of two simple sentences joined together by a comma and a joining word When a clause depends on other clause and joining 2 or more than 2 simple sentences is called complex sentence
3 Definition of Clause Principal clause: Principal clause হচ্ছে একটি sentence-এর মূল বা সম্পূর্ণ অংশ এবং sentence-এর সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বক্তব্য/ Speech.  যেমন-

I am a good student.

Co-ordinary clause: Co-ordinary clause গুলো সম্পূর্ণ স্বাধীন যারা নিজস্ব অর্থ সম্পূর্ণরূপে প্রকাশ করার জন্য একটি আরেকটির উপর নির্ভরশীল নয় । যেমন-

I am a good student and I am a good player also.

Sub-ordinate clause: যে clause গুলো Principle clause এর উপর নির্ভরশীল হয়ে থাকে তাছাড়া সয়ংসম্পূর্ণভাবে পূর্ণাঙ্গ অর্থ প্রকাশ করত পারে না তাকে sub-ordinate clause বলে । যেমন-

Though he is poor, he is honest.

b. Subject+Auxiliary Verb + Principal Verb/

c. Subject+Verb+Object

d. Subject+Auxiliary Verb+Principal Verb+Object

2 subjects and 2 finite verbs=

a. Subject+Verb & Subject+Verb

b. Subject+Auxiliary Verb + Principal Verb & Subject+Auxiliary Verb + Principal Verb/

c. Subject+Verb+Object & Subject+Verb+Object

d. Subject+Auxiliary Verb+Principal Verb+Object & Subject+Auxiliary Verb+Principal Verb+Object

2 subjects and 2 finite verbs=

a. Subject+Verb & Subject+Verb

b. Subject+Auxiliary Verb+ Principal Verb & Subject+Auxiliary Verb + Principal Verb/

6 Examples In spite of having enough money, Konika is carrying her education. Konika has no enough money but she is carrying her education. Though Konika has no enough money, she is carrying her education.
